A Kentucky woman accused of dismembering her mom and cooking her body parts in the oven claimed she was a witch casting spells upon her arrest, say cops.

Torilena Fields, 32, was charged with murder in connection with the death of her mother, Trudy Fields, 68, at her Mount Olivet, Kentucky home, according to the Associated Press.

It's unclear if she entered a plea.

Police first responded to Trudy's home Oct. 11 after a repair worker called to the home believed he stumbled upon her body.

The worker claimed when he arrived on site, Fields was "casting spells on them" and "being confrontational," police said, according to the arrest warrant, WLWT-TV reported.

Responding officers allegedly found Trudy's dismembered body in the backyard, a blood-stained mattress and blood on the back porch. When officers met Fields, she "appeared to have blood on her face, hands and clothing," cops wrote, according to the outlet.

Police alleged Trudy's arms, legs and head were chopped off and her upper body and spine were "severed in half and the organs removed," the station reported. They alleged some body parts were stuffed in a folded mattress while other body parts "appeared to have been cooked" in a pot inside the oven.

Fields allegedly shot her mom in the head on Oct. 8 or 9, before dismembering her, say police, the AP reported. She is also accused of killing a dog.

A motive has not been disclosed.

A judge set her bond at $1.5 million.
