Authorities uncovered a "significant crime scene" Monday morning when they discovered five dead, including three teenagers, inside a Washington home, while another teen was taken into custody at the site, authorities reported.

Multiple 911 calls were made around 5 a.m. to report the incident in Fall City, Washington, according to King County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Mike Mellis, who spoke at a press briefing Monday afternoon.

Deputies arriving at the scene quickly detained one teenager, while another teen, who was injured, was transported to a hospital in Seattle, according to Mellis. Both teenagers reside in the home, Mellis added, according to the Associated Press.

Upon entering the home, deputies discovered the bodies of five individuals, Mellis said. Two were adults, while the other three were identified as young teenagers. The victims' names have not yet been released.

"Once bodies were discovered, clearly we understand that this is a hugely significant crime scene," he said.

Mellis went on to indicate that the shooting seems to involve family members, though the exact relationships among them remain unclear.

"I have no reason to think that there will be any additional arrests," he said.

The teen in custody has been booked into King County's juvenile detention facility.

The teen is scheduled to appear in court for an initial hearing on Tuesday or Wednesday, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the county Prosecuting Attorney's Office in an email.
