Report says Bryan Singer gets sued again for alleged sexual assault with a teenage boy

By

On Sunday, an unnamed teenager has sued "X-men" director Bryan Singer and another Hollywood bigwig of sexual assault, the Daily Beast said. The 48 year-old filmmaker and the 59 year-old Broadway producer were named as defendants in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Federal court on Saturday by the same lawyer that represented Michael Egan. Egan was the first to come out with claims that he was abused by Singer and another pal while he was a struggling actor in his teens.

According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff was reportedly 14 when Goddard had reached out via social media with promises that he will be introduced to the right people to further his acting career. The online relationship carried out by the boy and Goddard had become real when the plaintiff was allegedly 15 or 16. The lawsuit claimed that Goddard introduced the boy to Singer at an afterparty for the London premiere of he filmmaker's film "Superman Returns" in 2006. The teenager said that Singer offered him Quaalude before he was ganged up by him and Goddard with help from a muscle man.

"(I have) only recently became cognizant that he has suffered psychological and emotional injuries, mental anguish and loss of enjoyment of life as a result of defendants' sexual acts, the plaintiff claimed in the suit.

Marty Singer, the filmmaker's attorney and has no relation with him, said that the latest claims were not true. "Mr. Herman's desperation has led him to fabricate these new anonymous accusations against Mr. Singer, which we will also prove to be completely false," Singer said.

Goddard's legal camp has also released a statement following the suit and said that the producer will vigorously defend his innocence, the New York Daily News said. Grodin added, "It is a shame that the specious claim made by Herman in the Egan case has resulted in this new claim that we note is over 10 years old."
