Search is underway for Adam Renk, a 39-year-old man wanted for multiple charges of child sexual abuse in Oregon and Alabama.
The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force has joined Alabama and Oregon police in the manhunt.
Renk was last seen in Mobile, Alabama, on August 7, and is believed to be traveling in a converted Ford ambulance, painted white and grey. He previously used Instagram and YouTube to document his "#vanlife" journey, showcasing the ambulance conversion and his travels.
In June, Oregon State Police in Wasco County responded to a sexual abuse report made by a child victim who identified Renk as the attacker.
Renk was subsequently charged with Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree, Sodomy in the First Degree, and Sex Abuse in the First Degree against a child under the age of 12.
Oregon State Police learned of the Mobile, Alabama, charges against Renk while conducting their investigation.
During their investigation, Oregon police learned of additional charges filed in Mobile, Alabama. Renk faces charges of Child Sexual Abuse and Torture in Alabama, involving an 11-year-old victim. Court documents indicate Renk allegedly maintained a "torture room."
Another individual, Natasha Dee Still, is currently in custody at Mobile Metro Jail, charged with Aggravated Child Abuse in connection to the case. The victims in Oregon and Alabama are unrelated.
After posting bond, Renk was released from pre-trial custody in Mobile on August 7 and subsequently fled. He is thought to be either in the converted ambulance or possibly towing a trailer. He has ties to Eastern Oregon, but his current location remains unknown.
Adam Renk is a white male, 6 ft. 1 in. tall, 175 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes, and a handlebar mustache.
