A former Georgia city commissioner who mysteriously vanished in the middle of the night has been deemed "critically missing" by police.

Kenderson Hill, 64, was last seen alive leaving his Albany, Georgia, neighborhood on foot Saturday around 3:45 a.m. local time, according to investigators.

On Saturday evening, the Albany Police Department upgraded Hill's status to critically missing,which means a missing adult whose disappearnace poses a "credible threat" to that person's health and safety, according to Law Insider.

Police believe he may also be in need of medical treatment, WALB revealed.

It's unclear where he was heading.

Hill, described by police as a 6-foot Black man, weighing 225 lbs., was wearing a beige hat, black jacket, black shirt, blue jeans, and black slides when he disappeared.

He may be in need of medical attention, a missing persons poster stated, without elaborating.

According to Linkedin, Hill previously served as a city commissioner for Albany from 1995 - 2000.
