An Oklahoma couple has revealed that a string of racist, anti-semitic graffiti sprayed all over parks and playgrounds in the city of Sapulpa was directed solely at them after the pair cut ties with the two suspects arrested in connection to the vandalism.

Over the weekend, Sapulpa police were alerted to multiple incidents of graffiti, laden with "vulgar language and obscene images," sprayed all over equipment and property inside Liberty Park and Heritage Park. On Sunday, police arrested Brandon Michael Arnold, who confessed to the crime and was booked on two counts of felony vandalism.

"Why bring adult drama at a playground where children play? That makes no sense," Pearl Cast told Fox23, who is dating Michael Hargrove, revealing that they were former friends of Arnold, and had been arguing with him and his girlfriend, Katelynn Jot Macke, since June.

The graffiti included hate speech, racial statements, swastikas, as well as Pearl Cast's name, the outlet reported.

The couple said that they cut ties with Arnold and Macke after Arnold shot one of them multiple times with a BB gun, despite his repeated objections. After they cut ties, Arnold demanded that Hargove meet him in the park to fight. After he declined, the graffiti was found.

"My mom called me and said, 'Did you hear about Davis Park?' I said, 'What do you mean?' and she said my name was slandered everywhere," Cast said in the interview with Fox23.

A parks spokesperson told the news outlet that the damage is estimated at $14,000-17,000 dollars.
