The ex-boyfriend of an MLB pitcher's daughter reportedly left behind a note at his dad's house before vanishing alongside his former girlfriend.

"Off to travel the world, heart Morgan + Brenna, see you on the other side," and "I went back to spend one last night with her," Morgan Guidry penned on a pair of sticky notes to his dad before he went missing with ex Brenna Swindell, last month, KVUE-TV reported.

Guidry was arrested in Klamath Falls, Oregon, early Tuesday morning, on a warrant in connection with the alleged July 7 assault and strangulation of Swindell, in Travis County, Texas, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

Swindell – the 29-year-old daughter of former Houston Astros player Greg Swindell – was found "safe" alongside Guidry in a vehicle, after vanishing from the Austin, Texas, area with him Aug. 22, according to the Travis County Sheriff's Office.

It's unclear if Guidry will face charges related to Swindell's vanishing.

The Swindell patriarch was instrumental in bringing public attention to his daughter's mysterious disappearance.

"She has been found," Swindell's athlete father confirmed on X Tuesday. "That's all we have for now. Thank you to everyone. And I mean everyone who helped in the process."

Swindell, a mom of three, would "never" willingly abandon her three children, loved ones previously stated in their public plea to help bring her home.
