A Louisiana man armed with three rifles, a pistol, and a machete threatened and harassed a school bus driver as well as the parents during a drop-off Friday morning.
Duane Landry, a 67-year-old man decked in armor, allegedly approached the driver and told her she could not block the intersection with the bus before threatening to shoot her.
Baton Rouge Police said Landry was in possession of three rifles on his front, a revolver on his waist, a gun strapped to his thigh, a knife, a machete blade, bear spray, and cuffs, according to WDSU.
The suspect also stated he was a commissioner for the subdivision on North Leighton Drive and ordered the driver to leave as he attempted to force himself on the bus with students aboard.
Law enforcement officials arrested Landry at the scene.
