Music in gaming has always been especially important for players. With the announcement of "Halo Wars 2", fans can listen to the official soundtrack before the game's release.

There are many reasons why people get attached to games on an emotional level. For sure, most of the reasons have to do with the characters, the story, and on some point it relates to the players on a personal level, but there's one thing that acts as one of the major reasons for that connection, and it's the music. Above all the OSTs (Original/Official Soundtracks) in gaming history, the OST produced from the team that developed "Halo" was one of the most iconic, and it's no surprise that the "Halo" franchise is known not just for its games but for the music that comes with it. Are you excited for "Halo Wars 2"?

Well, the grand and orchestral tones mixed with the modern addition of rock and guitar combines into a harmonious mixture that both soothes the nerves, uplifts the spirit and leaves the mystery. The OST for "Halo Wars 2" is no different, and fans can listen to the songs of the game right now to excite them for what is to come in the latest installment of the "Halo" series via Soundcloud, as per Game Spot. Though all the tracks are available through Soundcloud, you can still help support the game developers and the talented orchestra that helped create such masterpieces by purchasing the soundtrack for $18 this coming Friday.

According to ONMSFT.com, the release was in celebration for "Halo Wars 2" coming into early access, a chance for gamers and fans to try the game to see if they are in its favor as well as a chance for the developers to receive feedback in order to make any last-minute changes before its official release. The game's official release will be Feb. 21, so the release of the official soundtrack acts as but a taste of what is to come in the inevitable in-game war for those that are going to purchase it. If one is interested in playing earlier, however, one can pick up the $80 ultimate edition or the $350 Xbox One S Bundle, which contains the game, may begin their assault on Feb. 17.
