Democratic Al Franken Revises His Comment On Republicans And President Trump’s Mental Health

Democratic Senator Al Franken seems to know more about what Republicans think than the Republicans themselves. He revised his previous that said some Republicans worried about the mental health of President Donald Trump on Sunday Feb, 12.

Speaking in “State of the Union” talkshow on CNN as reported by New York Post, the Democratic senator from Minnesota revised his statement. He clarified that only a few Republican senators worried that President Trump is not right mentally.

"It's not the majority of them, it's a few," Franken said to Todd clarifying what he said to Bill Maher before. Previously, Franken said in the HBO political talk show “Real Time with Bill Maher” claiming Republican senators have concern about the mental health of President Trump.

He said as reported by Business Insider, that the GOP’s senator have concern about Trump’s statement about millions of illegal voters. President Trump had claimed in a meeting with the U.S. Senate last week that thousands of people were sent to some states by bus to vote illegally against him.

The presence of illegal voters have caused him to lose in state like California and New Hampshire. However, President Trump did not submit any corroborating evidence to support his claim.

Both Senator Franken and President Trump have many similarities. They both were once starr of the popular TV shows, and they both also the star of their respective shows from the same TV station.

The Minnesota senator was a popular comedian in the “Saturday Night Live” since the 1970’s. He was recruited as the writer and performers in the Season 1 of the NBC show in 1975.

While President Trump was the executive producer for “The Apprentice” for 12 years and 14 seasons of the reality show from 2003 to 2015. “The Apprentice” has been franchised to 70 countries and was one of the most successful NBC show.
