Klay Thompson Better Than Stephen Curry: NBA Analyst Charles Barkley Made Shaquille O’ Neal, Kenny Smith Shake Their Heads

By

When it is about NBA of today, big names like Stephen Curry or Lebron James will automatically come to your mind, and both players would likely land on your top five best players. However, NBA analyst Charles Barkley ranks the Golden State MVP only as the seventh best player on NBA, even putting Klay Thompson ahead on the sixth spot.

Charles Barkley openly admits that he isn't a Golden State Warriors fan, nor does he is sort of conformed on their play style. This gives the notion that he would be a bit neglectful of the fact how great achievements Stephen Curry did already for the past seasons in NBA, even breaking records with his lead.

Well, it isn't surprising for Klay Thompson to be among the best - but it's kind of surprising that he will be considered better than Stephen Curry, Fansided reports. It could be that Thompson have made great feats with the Warriors, but when it comes to statistics, Curry is better obviously. However, the ranking made by Charles Barkley on Thursday would not shake the Golden State Warriors' camaraderie.

The team is known to work together filling in with the shortcomings of the other to compensate in every game - remembering how Klay Thompson stepped-up when Stephen Curry's game isn't all well. And it's not just one instance between two team members - it happens all the time. No word yet has been officially stated by the Golden State Warriors regarding Barkley's remarks, but we can expect that it will be simply shaken off by them.

Focusing on Barkley's comment, even NBA legend Shaquille O' Neal and Kenny Smith can't help but shake their heads. But when Smith tried to press Barkley if he would have a team putting Klay Thompson over Stephen Curry, his response sort of showed he realized he was wrong, as reported by Fox Sports.
