Motorola E3 Series Fails To Accomodate Android 7.0 Nougat

By

In a new release, Motorola revealed that the third generation of its Moto E series will not be privy to the Android 7.0 Nougat. The news comes as a shock to all the Motorola fans out there when the company released news of its decision.

The Motorola Moto E3 or E3 Power is left stranded with no higher updates into the Android world. Users who purchased the gadget may have selected a great gadget within an affordable price range but as the saying goes everything comes at a price. Literally.

In a world of fast-moving technology, brand new smartphones become old news after just a few months of release. Motorala has took it upon itself to reaffirm this notion and inform users that the E3 series will not carry forward to the Android Nougat 7.0.

Details of the gadgets' specifications can be found on the official Motorala website. The portal shows that the Moto E3 Power's and the E3's fate is sealed to remain as permanent handsets of Marshmallow. Many users feel like this would leave them stranded technologically and that the company is at fault.

The devices were released recently late last year in September. The fact that neither one of them will be seeing any additional updates is surprising and disappointing at best. The company has not provided any specific reasons behind their decision, leaving users utterly in the dark.

This could lead us to assume that the gadgets' will not see their firm's expectations in sales. Despite that, the E3 Power sold over a hundred thousand units in India alone on the first day of release. Another assumption would be that the firm's decision was a deliberate one.

The reasons behind the decision can only be left to our imaginations as the company has yet to come forward and provide users with an explanation. That being said, it is hard to stomach the fact that in today's rapidly advancing world any company would stand against such an important and significant update.
