Pokémon Bank unlocks this strange cutscene in Pokémon Sun and Moon

By

At a very young age, most people who delve into the world of Pokémon have a very common dream: to become a Pokémon master. But what does that actually mean? The Pokémon show would tell you that it's a lot of things. It means making bonds with your Pokémon. It means making them your close, personal friends. It means that through thick and thin, you would be there by their side to make sure that they experience the same amount of affection that you feel for your human friends. It sounds like a lot, but thankfully the term of being a master of Pokémon is different in the real world (Or as close to the real world as we can get). For most players and fans of the franchise, it requires one goal shared by everyone else vying to become a Pokémon master like yourself: You've got to catch them all.

Catching them all in the games has now made it very possible, especially for the people who have purchased a copy of Pokémon Sun and Moon. The Pokémon Bank has made it so that people who wanting to fill up their roster can now do so by passing through different generations. Recently, Newsjs.com claims that the bank now supports Pokémon Sun and Moon, bringing us one step closer to our childhood dreams. Though you need to download the Pokémon transporter app to make this possible, it's one small price to pay for being able to catch them all. That and the price of $4.99 a year is nothing for most Pokémon veterans.

And yet, Nintendo continues to surprise us. With the support of the Pokémon Bank for Pokémon Sun and Moon, it seems that an odd cutscene comes with it when you use it in the game of Sun and Moon, according to Polygon. To achieve this cutscene, you must do the following steps:

1. Transfer Solrock to Pokemon Sun or Lunatone to Pokemon Moon.

2. Put Solrock/Lunatone in your party.

3. Fly to Ruins of Abundance on Ula'ula Island.

4. Head south to enter Haina Desert.

5. Head to the western exit, then immediately back east (where you came from).

6. Head to the southern exit.

7. Keep heading south until you see the old man with a red shirt.

8. Speak to him for an interesting cutscene!

Though this cutscene is quite strange, it only means that on your journey you were at least able to help the old man in the cutscene. One more step to becoming a Pokémon Master.
