Hugh Hefner Dragged Into Bill Cosby Lawsuit; Model Chloe Goins Claims Playboy Magazine Founder Conspired With Comedian

By

A model accusing Bill Cosby of drugging and molesting her when she was only 17 years old has claimed that Hugh Hefner conspired with the comedian regarding the alleged assault. This took place back in 2008.

Huffington Post reported that the model, now 26 years old, accused Cosby, 78, of giving her a spiked alcoholic drink. She then passed out during a party at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles and claims that she woke up in a bedroom. Her breasts were said to be exposed and she saw Cosby biting at her toes with his pants down.

Hefner, now 90, lived at the mansion during the time that Goins claimed she was drugged and sexually assaulted. He is said to be responsible as he served alcohol to Goins as a minor and was the one who introduced her to Cosby. The lawsuit claims that Hefner "knew or should have known" that Cosby had a "propensity for intoxicating and or drugging young women and taking advantage of them sexually and against their will or while they were unconscious," Newsweek reported.

Hefner is accused of conspiracy while Cosby is accused of sexual battery, gender violence, and intentional emotional distress. Goins claims that the incident shocked, hurt, and psychologically impacted her. As a result of the traumatic incident at a very young age, Goins said that it has caused her life-long harm and injury.

October last year, Goins filed a lawsuit against Cosby and was seeking more than $75,000 in damages. However, she withdrew the lawsuit in February. The latest lawsuit filed on Monday and is a sexual battery complaint, Fox News reported. Her attorney said that the latest filing is about Goins doing what is best for her. It was unclear why the first lawsuit was withdrawn earlier this year.

The lawsuit also claims that three more women claim they were drugged and sexually assaulted by Cosby at the Playboy Mansion in the 1970s. More than 50 women have accused Cosby of drugging and/or raping them as well as making unwanted sexual contact.
