Justin Drew Bieber is going to be sued for $100,000 (£69,000) by Robert Earl Morgan for smashing up a mobile phone. The 22-year old noted Canadian singer and song-writer has allegedly destroyed latter's cell phone while trying to record footage during a party at Cle nightclub in Houston, Texas during last month.
According to the lawsuit, Justin has become enraged while spotting Morgan to record his attempt to chug a beer bong. The arrogant pop singer has allegedly grabbed the cell phone and forcibly thrown to the ground causing it to be completely destroyed, reports Gossip Cop.
A Smart-phone can't cost $100,000. But the singer is being sued for such a large amount since pictures stored in the phone are impossible to replace.
Pictures in the phone memory include his grandmother's 100th birthday party and around 5,000 images and videos from his travels. Furthermore, numbers of Morgan's business contacts have also been lost with smashing up the cell phone, according to a report published in Mirror. Bieber hasn't yet made any public comment over the allegations. The 'Phonegate' scam has allegedly taken place on the same evening when he has been spotted stubbing a cigarette out on the arm of Post Malone. Malone has been patronizing the pop star on his 'Purpose World Tour', reports BBC. Images snapped on that evening show that Malone has been reaching an arm out while grabbing the Canadian turned American singer by his throat. Denying any beef between them, the rapper however claims for messing around only. The Los Angeles resident has won numerous fan voted awards that include American Music Award for Artist of the Year in 2010 and 2012. He has been nominated thrice for Grammy award and has won one for Best Dance Recording in the song 'Where Are U Now' at the 2016 ceremony. His fan base is known as 'beliebers' comprising of early to mid-adolescent girls. He has been listed thrice by Forbes magazine among the top ten most powerful celebrities in the world during 2011, 2012 and 2013. He has also been recognized as the first artist to crack 10 billion total video views on Vevo.
