Caitlyn Jenner has visited bathroom at Trump International Hotel and Tower following invitation from the Republican front runner Donald Trump. Though invitation has been made to do the bathroom work at Trump Tower, the transgender celebrity instead visited his hotel bathroom. Video footage of her refreshment job has been uploaded to Facebook under the title 'Bathroom Break'.
The invitation took place after Trump was asked some questions in an interview aired on 'The Today Show'. One quuestion centers his comfortablility feeling if Jenner uses any bathroom at her choice in Trump Tower. The question arises marking passage of so-called bathroom laws in North Carolina and Mississippi allegedly targeting transgender individuals, reports ABC News.
In response to the question, Trump admits that he is ready to let the No.1 transgender reality star use any bathroom upon her choice in his high rise. Jenner has revealed doing just that on Tuesday.
The uploaded video shows that after finishing her bathroom work, she comes out of the rest room and expresses her feeling while addressing someone as Ted. The Ted, she referred, is another Republican Presidential nomination candidate, Ted Cruz.
Cruz comes under fire following his support for North Carolina's new law restricting people from using public bathrooms without matching sex mentioned on their birth certificates, reports People Magazine. Jenner has thanked Trump for allowing her using the Trump facilities while getting honored at TIME 100 Gala on Tuesday.
Intriguingly, the tyrannical tycoon has been tilted from his previous stance on the very day during an interview with Fox's Sean Hannity. He has insisted to leave the matter up to the locals and state governments. Meanwhile, Trump's intra-party rival has accused him of bowing down to political correctness, reports New York Daily News.
The move by Jenner is a counter jab to Cruz for his support in favor of bathroom laws aiming to prevent so-called predators. Defending his stance, Cruz has argued that there is no greater evil than predators. The recently passed Bathroom Law aims to protect girls and women from such predators.
In clarification to his views on the Bathroom Laws, he elaborates that Donald Trump will not be allowed to visit ladies' washroom though he dresses up as Hillary Clinton. However, the debate on transgender peoples' rights has turned into a burning event among the party front runners.
