No Man's Sky New Features Revealed in Latest Footage; Will The Title Get Boring Fast?

By

No Man's Sky essentially has one promise to the fans, which is a seemingly unending journey to take on for many, many hours. To tease fans even more, Hello Games has released one more new footage to get the hype up, showing possible tasks that will get the fans thinking on how they are to approach on.

As per Time, one apparent fact about No Man's Sky is the existence of 18 quintillion planets as per Hello Games, all of which are procedurally generated. Sure enough, fans of the series are already questioning the validity of the claim, but apart from it, the question on what to do once a player gets to said planets is still at large.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the latest footage for No Man's Sky showcases the potential tasks that gamers are to do, such as deciphering some ancient languages or lore of a certain planet; talking about the heritage of the planet. Cracking the history of the said planets will then aid in the future extraction of resources thereof, and the footage also showcases the trades, exploration, planetary interaction and more.

Destructoid noted that gamers will most likely have a hard time believing that No Man's Sky is indeed as good as many say it is. Skeptics see that eventually, the game may be boring; in the sense that planetary exploration will get stale especially after an unimaginable promise of 18 quintillion planets that will take more than a normal lifetime to get across. Some think of one opposition, specifically Mass Effect: Andromeda will pack more action than No Man's Sky but is still quite debatable.

In reality, many see that it is too early to criticize No Man's Sky since the game is still in development. The promise of the title has not ceased, namely the extended, somewhat infinite exploration possibilities. Stay tuned for more No Man's Sky news, as it releases on June 21st.
