'Silicon Valley' Season 3: Episode 1 airs April 24; Stephen Tobolowsky plays new Pied Piper's CEO

HBO finally released the first full-length promotional trailer and plot description for the premiere episode of "Silicon Valley" Season 3 which is set to premiere on April 24, 2016. With that being said, veteran actor Stephen Tobolowsky has been cast to replace the Pied Piper fame's company founder Richard Hendricks played by Thomas Middleditch in the show.

HBO has finally released the first full-length promotional trailer for "Silicon Valley" Season 3. The video clip as posted on Business Insider suggests that Stephen Tobolowsky has been hired in Pied Piper fame. The clip lasts for about 1 minute and 32 seconds.

Stephen Tobolowsky has landed a role in the upcoming installment of the HBO series. Tobolowsky has been cast to replace the company founder Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch). The 64-year-old veteran American actor, author, and musician will portray the role of Jack Barker aka Action.

Jack happens to be the newest chief executive officer of Pied Piper fame, the show's fictional startup. He is described as a formidable man sporting a grey hair with features like that of Erlich Bachman's (T.J. Miller) goofball stoner, Ecumenical News has cited.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 1, TV Series Finale notes, "After being unceremoniously fired, an angry Richard faces a tough decision: accept the diminished role of CTO, or leave Pied Piper for good. Erlich takes a shine to Jack Barker.

Laurie's new choice of CEO, while Denish and Bertram Gilfoyle (Martin Starr) weigh their options in Richard's absence. At Hooli, Gavin Belson (Matt Ross) tries to improve his image by admitting failure, and Nelson 'Big Head' Bighetti (Josh Brener) gets wind of major changes."

"Silicon Valley" Season 3 premiere episode (episode 1) is entitled as "Founder Friendly". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. first and exclusive on HBO.
