Orange Is The New Black' officially ordered for 3 more seasons; Laura Prepon teases Season 4 as 'best ever'

Netflix has officially announced that 'Orange is the New Black" Season 4 will continue for seasons 5, 6, and 7. The network also released the promotional photos for the forthcoming installment. With that being said, lead actress Laura Prepon who plays the role of Alex Vause teased some details about what fans should expect when the series returns on June 17, 2016.

Netflix confirmed that "Orange is the New Black" has been picked up for renewal for 3 seasons. The network made an advanced order for seasons 5, 6, 7 apart from season 4 for the series. The upcoming installment is said to pick up right where the previous season 3 has left, The Siver Times has reported.

With that being said, the network finally has also released promotional photos for the forthcoming season of the Jeni Kohan-created series. The official photos as posted on Mashable features what's in store for the ladies of OITNB will face in the prison cell. The photos show the continuation on where the previous season has left off.

In addition to that, Laura Prepon who plays the lead role of Alex Vause, dished the details via Parent Herald on what fans should expect in the upcoming "Orange is the New Black" Season 4.

Prepon stated, "This season I think is one of our best by far, and I think the fans are going to be really happy. Our writers are so good and Jenji is just so awesome, and they really, we just keep proving ourselves over and over again and Netflix just let's do our thing, man, it's incredible."

"Orange is the New Black" Season 4 is scheduled to premiere on Friday, June 17, 2016 first and exclusive on Netflix.

"Orange is the New Black" (often abbreviated as OITNB) is an American comedy-drama series created by Jenji Kohan. The storyline is based on Piper Kerman's memoir entitled "Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison".
