'Doctor Who' Season 10 pegged to premiere around 2017; Jenna Coleman confirmed to exit BBC series

"EastEnders" actress Rakhee Thakrar has been speculated to replace Jenna Coleman in "Doctor Who" Season 10 following her exit. Peter Capaldi who plays the role of the 12th and current Doctor even dished the details about the new companion. While waiting for the 2017 premiere, avid fans and viewers can stream the complete eight seasons online in Amazon Prime.

Rumor has it that "EastEnders" actress Rakhee Thakrar will be a part of "Doctor Who" Season 10 cast. According to The Guardian, the 32-year-old English actress will serve as the newest leading lady of the show.

Thakrar is said to be replacing the 12th and current The Doctor's (Peter Capaldi) companion Clara Oswald following the confirmed exit of actress Jenna Coleman in the series. Jenna Coleman decided to leave the show for good when she found out that the script and the direction of the storyline was not what she expected to be.

With that being said, lead actor Peter Capaldi discussed the details about the newest companion via Headlines and Global News. Capaldi stated, "This companion knows very little about The Doctor, unlike Clara who had previously traveled alongside the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith). There will be a new companion any minute and I'm excited because obviously I know who that is and we've doing a bit of work together and a different sort of take on it."

In the meantime, avid fans and viewers can enjoy the online streaming of "Doctor Who" complete eight seasons. Australia Network News has reported that Amazon Prime finally bagged the rights to stream the popular series online. Because of that, Amazon Prime members will have the free access to stream the previous eight seasons of the show which began last Sunday, March 27, 2016.

"Doctor Who" Season 10 is speculated to return anytime soon in 2017 first and exclusive on BBC.
