"Legend of the Seeker" actress Tabrett Bethell will serve as the 4th mistress in "Mistresses" Season 4 following the exit of Jennifer Esposito. "Homeland" actor Navid Negahban has been cast for a recurring role, while transgender actor Ian Harvie will make a multi-cameo appearance as the series returns around June 2016.
"Legend of the Seeker" actress Tabrett Bethell officially returns in "Mistresses" Season 4. The 34-year-old Australian film, TV, and theater actress has been promoted as a series regular. She will serve as the 4th mistress of the 4th season following the confirmed exit of Jennifer Esposito who plays the character of Calista Raines. Bethell will portray the role of Harry Davis' (Brett Tucker) sister, Kate.
Bethell enters the scene as she reemerges from Australia to ruin Harry's relationship with Joss as she searches for true love. Her major comeback is also set for some catfights with her fellow mistresses, TV Line has cited.
In addition, "Homeland" actor Navid Negahban has landed a role in the upcoming season of ABC series. According to Movie News Guide, the 47-year-old Iranian American actor will play the heavy role of Jonathan Amadi. Jonathan happens to be a successful Persian businessman who runs a hotel and restaurant. Jonathan is described as a genuine and nice guy who will help Harry to expand his own business.
Other than that, "Transparent" alum Ian Harvie officially signs in for the upcoming episodes of the summer series. The 47-year-old transgender actor and stand-up comedian has booked a multi-episode arc for the upcoming installment.
Harvie will play the role of a rich financier who ends up hiring April Malloy (Rochelle Aytes) to decorate his house. However, their working relationship will cause some complications and tensions in her newfound romance Marc Nickleby (Rob Mayes), Carter Matt reported.
"Mistresses" Season 4 is expected to premiere around June 2016 first and exclusive on ABC.
"Mistresses" is an American mystery drama and soap opera TV series developed by K.J. Steinberg and Rina Mimoun. The storyline is based on the 2008-2010 UK TV series by Lowri Glain and S.J. Clarkson of the same name.
