The horror masterpiece Friday the 13th: The Game is no longer a myth as some may know. So little has been divulged about the title as of late and as far as fans are concerned, the title is still a work in progress. Gun Media and IllFonic became very generous as of late and gave the fans what is due to them, as they announced via social media "A little treat for fans. GAMEPLAY!"
According to Cinema Blend, the crowd-funded Friday the 13th: The Game is now a certainty in the eyes of the gamers that have waited for the title to surface. It was confirmed that the game will indeed come to the mass during the late months of 2016, and to keep the players intact, a new teaser trailer was launched by the developer and the publisher.
As per Hardcore Gamer, a short 16-second clip was showed to the world recently, teasing fans of Jason's appearance. In the footage, Jason was not at all visible, and it was teased that he was busting through a door. The video was found posted on the game's Twitter page and as clichéd as many called it, fans declared that it was quite enough for the world to get a glimpse of the potential gameplay that the work in progress will bring to the table.
Dread Central noted that Friday the 13th: The Game is a multiplayer title wherein seven players will participate, with 6 players to portray the role of the stalked teenagers and one being the feared Jason Voorhees. Not only was the game crowd-funded to run, but it also went through another heavy process to give Jason some of his signature kills.
Friday the 13th: The Game is considered as one of the games which will once again revive the horror genre to the next generation consoles. The Kickstarter campaign in which the game originated managed to surpass the $700,000 goal that it aimed for.
