Quantum Break Debuts April 5th; New Trailer Highlights Both the Game's Protagonists and Antagonists

By

Quantum Break is Remedy Entertainment's latest title that will ultimately get the fans up and out of their seats. With such amusing promise of time being action that will ultimately be the main focus of the game, teasers are bound to be bestowed upon the game before the much anticipated release; and the latest one may be the much-needed push.

According to Engadget, Quantum Break has been a smooth-sailing boat since the announcement of the game spread quickly. For those who may not be aware, Quantum Break was originally a four-episode TV series that ran for over twenty-two minutes each; comparable to the length of a conventional movie. Now, the developer sees the need to make another trailer that will further enlighten the fans on the game's atmosphere.

The new footage for Quantum Break does not only show the protagonist being portrayed by X-Men's Shawn Ashmore, but also the main villains that the gamers are to go up against. As per VG247, seen in the video is Paul Serene portrayed by Aidan Gillen, and Hatch, played by Lance Reddick. The aforementioned villains are under the employment of Monarch Solutions, and in the trailer, one of the more iconic parts is when Serene spoke to Jack Joyce; Ashmore's character, that "Time is just one closed loop".

Game Spot noted that both actors Gillen and Reddick have worked together in the past, namely HBO's The Wire. One more important character that lies in the story is Dominic Monaghan, more popularly known in his appearances in Lost and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Remedy Entertainment is known for the titles Alan Wake and Max Payne. One common feat that lies in the said games is the involvement of time-bending and potential slow motion scenes within the game play itself. Quantum Break is expected to hit the stores come April 5th for the Xbox One and PC.
