Blizzard Entertainment's Starcraft II: Nova Covert Ops Mission Pack 1 has now been confirmed of being live. Now that the expansion has reached the attention of the awaiting gamers, the said mission may be more than what meets the eye, and it will not stop there.

According to I Digital Times, Starcraft II: Nova Covert Ops Mission 1 has a simple concept behind it; the gamer will take on the role of Nova Terra. The character will find herself waking up at an unidentified military facility wherein her memory has apparently failed her, and will have to escape and know the truth before time runs out. Nova's memory will further determine her fate and that of the Terran Dominion.

As per Segment Next, the official description of the game says, "In the first of the three mission packs of Nova Covert Ops you will assume the role of Nova Terra. As Nova, you'll strategize against the Defenders of Man and help Emperor Valerian Mengsk restore peace and unity to the Dominion.

You'll be met with unique challenges that will require you to customize your equipment, select special army upgrades, and utilize powerful psionic ghost abilities to work your way through each mission to victory. All three Nova mission packs are expected to release on or before December 1, 2016. You do not need to own StarCraft or StarCraft II to jump into Nova Covert Ops."

Video Gamer detailed that in the near future, Mission Pack 2 and 3 will have another set of rough events for the game. Such being the presence of Emperor Valerian and his cruel intentions to eliminate thousands of lives. Lastly, Mission Pack 3 talks about the possible sacrifices that Nova must take to make sure the Terran Dominion does not perish.

Starcraft II: Nova Covert Ops Mission Pack 1 is but a taste of what is to come in the near future. Keep posted for more updates on Blizzard Entertainment's decorated Mission Packs.
