By

Rockstar Games has officially confirmed GTA 6 of being in the works. Fans of the series have officially waited on news regarding the title's existence and now that the announcement has been made, Rockstar Games could focus on the possible plot direction in which the game is to head towards.

As reported by Tech Radar, Rockstar Games gave their word that GTA became abruptly close to creating a GTA Tokyo, but immediately withdrew the claim. This is because of the said condition that the streets of Tokyo are in, and with it, the development team was quick to decide otherwise. This is only the first step of GTA 6's further creation, and as the team goes around the world to look for the next location, the decision may stay firm of the game being in the United States.

According to IGN, GTA 6 is now a title that is sure of being in the works coming straight from Rockstar Games themselves. The location of the game, however, is one that is still undecided. Multiple rumors have went around, saying that GTA 6 will take place once more in Vice City and will be called Vice City 2 but is yet to be made affirmative.

Comic Book delivered that GTA 6 could be just around the corner with a release date yet to surface. Many gamers believe that this is Rockstar Games' chance to push through with the long-awaited female protagonist for the title. Moreover, there is a chance that this will be the opportunity for Rockstar Games to push through with their intercontinental map wherein the entire United States would serve as the main map.

GTA 6 is yet to be given a release date or further details regarding the game's entirety. As of the moment, both GTA 6 and the relative title Red Dead Redemption 2 are yet to have their share of launch periods.
