Uriah Shelton, who plays the role of Joshua Matthews, officially signs in to return to "Girl Meets World" Season 3. According to Vine Report, the 19-year-old American teen actor and singer has been temporarily removed from the series during its sophomore season due to an accident.

Jacobs stated, "As long as the show runs on Disney Channel, we want to honor the people who invited us to play at their house. We will tackle heavier subjects but we will also honor the fact that our demographic starts at 6 years old."

With that being said, avid fans and viewers of the show placed an online petition via change.org to move the show from another network. Parent Herald has cited that the online petition wants the series to be moved from Disney Channel to Freeform so that the teenage storylines would not be restricted due to its younger demographic.
