Mortal Kombat X Mac Version Release Confirmed by Ed Boon; Kombat Pack 2 Might Be Coming to PC

By

Game director Ed Boon has confirmed Mortal Kombat X coming to Mac, which could also pave the way for the release of Kombat Pack 2 for PC gamers.

This news has emerged when Boon, via his official Twitter account, dropped the announcement that the brawler game will be launched on Mac, thus, giving the PC users an ounce of hope that Kombat Pack 2 will als be made available for PC.

According to Design & Trend, Boon's tweet was directed as response to a meme sent to him by the game's PC user named ‏@eXcellent_88 on Twitter. The meme indicated his failure to provide more support for PC version of the title.

The said meme depicted an interview with Boon including comic bubbles which read, "so r u still going to s-t on PC users," and "yes. Why Not? We have their money now." Obviously, the image reflects the PC gaming community's sentiments not being able to get support for Kombat Pack 2 after paying for the main game.

The NetherRealm Studios director referred to the graphic as 'uninformed' while criticizing grammar usage. After which, he has publicly announced that a Mac version for Mortal Kombat X is in fact 'coming soon' which is music to ears to many of game aficionados.

Though no other details were added with it, speculations are now circulating online that it is very likely that Mortal Kombat XL which is packed with Kombat Pack 2 will be finally released on PC. This rumor, however, must be taken with a grain of salt until the developer makes an official announcement surrounding this claim.

What is only confirmed is that Mortal Kombat X Mac version is underway at some capacity or better yet, the XL pack of the game. Fans are advised to stay tuned for more news and updates.
