Famous RPG video game developer Game Freak has recently announced the new Special Dragonite Event for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Meanwhile, Japanese gamers of freemium puzzle video game Pokemon Shuffle for Nintendo 3DS and mobile devices are getting new stages this month and a Japan-only battle competition.
Hardcore gamers of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire who joined the Kanto Classic Battle Competition will be entitled to get Special Dragonite Pokemon as entry gift. This Pokemon is said to be special since it owns the Barrier move. Players can claim the reward via Serial Code redeemable before April 27 on the Global Link, according to Serebii.
On the other hand, Pokemon Shuffle for Nintendo 3DS and mobile devices will be holding a Japan-only Battle Competition which is a Japan qualifiers competition. This Double Battle competition will be consistent to the Video Game Championship rules, International Business Times reports.
The rule will allow gamers of Pokemon Shuffle to use any two box Legendary Pokemon from Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde. Registration period is from April 4 and ends April 28 and the competition battles will run from April 28 up to May 1st.
Moreover, new challenges for "Pokemon Shuffle" on Nintendo 3DS, Android and iOS versions have also been detailed as follows:
- Special Noivern stage- a timed stage that will conclude on March 29.
- Pokemon Safari stage- will see the appearance of Pokemon like Hoothoot, Noctowl, Houndour, Houndoom, Pineco, Forretress and Noibat and will run until March 29.
- Landorus stage- debuts on the Mobile version while it repeats on the 3DS. Gamers are only allowed to try it once. The catch rate increases each day and will run up to March 22.
Also, there's a repeat run of Rotom Daily Pokemon stages on both Shuffle and Shuffle Mobile. A Redditor codenamed Micloti shared about the removal of the 1,000-coin limit on mobile stages which means that players can now gain 1,000 coins in a stage.
