Exciting new features and huge development details of the fourth entry to Rebellion's franchise, Sniper Elite 4, have been showcased in new footage to the delight of fans from the recently concluded European Game Press event.
According to iDigital Times, game developer Rebellion has released thrilling development details on the fourth shooter title back at the European Game Press event. Such reveal has offered a glimpse of the studio's big plans for its Sniper Elite franchise and raise the bar with some remarkable improvements to look forward to by fans as it launches later this year.
After the said event, the latest Sniper Elite 4 footage was published on YouTube teasing the series' followers a sneak peek of the new features to be added in the next shooter video game. As revealed by the studio, the game's map seen in the video is among the smallest, although, the environment is three times larger contrary to Sniper Elite 3.
Moreover, veteran players of Sniper Elite series will be introduced to a couple of kill cams namely, Melee and Shrapnel in the next installment. Based on the video, the Shrapnel kill cam appeared to be the most intense feature add-on to witness in a video game in years. It showed a slow motion, x-ray enhanced peek at the catastrophic damage of the explosion on enemies.
For the Melee kill cam, it offers an improved look at the devastation of non-projectile or explosive attacks but the effect is noted to be under control as opposed to Shrapnel and classic kill cams.
