'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2', or 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows', is an upcoming 3D action-comedy film directed by Dave Green. It recently unveiled brand new clips featuring Brian Tee's villainous Shredder as well as the turtles' upgraded new ride.
According to /Film, brand new clips were unveiled during Nickelodeon's Kidss Choice Awards. The first trailer introduced antagonists Bebop and Rocksteady into the series while a teaser aired during the Super Bowl TV Spot revealed another bad guy named Krang. The clips showed in Nickelodeon's annual awards show finally revealed the villainous Shredder's new look, which was considered much different from his appearance in the first film.
Shredder's updated costume is anything but cheesy. According to Tech Times, he imposes a fierceness reinforced by a large metal headpiece. Brian Tee, best known for his role in 'The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift', is set to portray one of the biggest and meanest villains in the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' cinematic franchise. Tee himself shared a closer look at Oroku Saki a.k.a. Shredder through an Instagram post.
Tee's antagonist is known to be a master of Ninjutsu. He is Splinter and the turtles' arch-nemesis as well as the cruel leader of the Foot Clan. He is a ferocious fighter trained in martial arts and has abilities of superhuman strength, speed, stealth and endurance.
The new clips also featured the turtles' new ride complete with upgraded weaponry and gadgetry. According to MovieWeb, their new garbage truck vehicle has been enhanced for their mission of defeating Shredder and his Foot Soldiers.
Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Johnny Knoxville and Jeremy Howard are set to lend their voices for the four titular heroes Raphael, Michaelangelo, Leonardo and Donatello. Original cast members Megan Fox, Will Arnett and William Fitchner are also reprising their roles as April O'Neil, Vern Fernwick and Eric Sacks, respectively.
Stephen Amell will be joining the new cast as the vigilante Casey Jones while comedian Gary Anthony Williams and wrestler Stephen Farrelly will be portraying Shredder's subordinates Bebop and Rocksteady.
'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2', otherwise known as 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows', is an upcoming 3D action-comedy film directed by Dave Green based on a screenplay by Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec. It is currently in post-production and is scheduled to be released on June 3, 2016.
