ABC Entertianment President Channing Dungey has officially announced that "Scandal" Season 5 will continue for season 6. Aside from that, ABC has released the official plot description of the upcoming episode 15 'Pencils Down' while the recap for last week's episode 14 'I See You' is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it.
The Shonda Rhimes-created TV series has received an early renewal for season 6 on ABC. According to Deadline, the ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey has officially announced the addition of a new installment for "Scandal". Other Shondaland dramas have also been picked up by the network including "Grey's Anatomy and "How To Get Away With Murder".
As for the offical plot synopsis of episode 15, Spoilers Guide notes, "When First Lady Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) makes a very public faux pas, Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) must decide how far she'll go to fix it. Meanwhile, the Gladiators learn valuable intel about Jake Ballard's (Scott Foley) new love interest; David Rosen (Joshua Malina) seeks advice about his love triangle with Liz North (Portia de Rossi) and Susan Ross (Artemis Pebdani)."
