Rumor has it that Amai Mask will be the strongest villain who could defeat Saitama in "One Punch Man" Season 2 while Garou will bring him into some serious trouble. Aside from that, series creator Murata Yusuke announced that the production for the upcoming installment is currently underway.
Rumors have surfaced that Handsome Kamen Amai Mask serves as the strongest villain who could defeat Saitama in "One Punch Man" Season 2. Because of that, Saitama will be forced to unleash his most powerful punch called the "serious punch". Amai Mask is a Class A Rank 1 hero who happens to be the highest-ranked A-Class name in the Hero Association. He has an immense speed abilities which makes him unstoppable among the S-Class heroes, MNR Daily has cited.
In addition, Saitama will also face an evil character who will bring him some serious trouble. According to Ecumenical News, Garou aka the Human Monster happens to be former student of Bang or Silver Fang who was expelled from his dojo from being involved in a rampage. Garou is described as a young man with a long and spiky white hair, yellow eyes, sharp features, and a muscular built. He is viewed as the Mysterious Being by the Hero Association who aims to defeat the top-ranking heroes of S and A-Class.
Other than that, animator Murata Yusuke announced that the development of the sophomore season is currently underway. International Business Times reported that Yusuke's production team are working on 100 sketches, inked pages, storyboards, and editing will take for about 10 hours a day.
As of now, the official premiere date of "One Punch Man" Season 2 has not been announced by the creator and the network just yet. Speculations suggest that the Japanese manga series is expected to air around November or December 2016. However, the development and production of anime series gives it a potential 2017 release.
