The last installation of Google Nexus has created a mix reaction among its fans. Some suggested that it needs a little more tweak while others are satisfied with it. With that in mind, Google Is now strapping up to create a whole new Nexus for 2016.

According to the BitBag, LG is not joining hands with Google to create the Nexus 2016 that is why the company is now looking for manufacturers that will carry the brand. In that note, rumors are circulating that Google is now partnering with HTC as the maker of the next Nexus device. According to sources, HTC will pattern the design to its One M10.

HTC asked Google to spearhead the next Nexus project. Speculations also came out that it will be the one to manufacture two Nexus smartphones which are bound to be released in the middle of this year and will be possibly revealed at the annual Google I/O Conference.

If HTC will use the template of the M10 to make the next Nexus then it will be considered as a higher mid-range phone due to the design concepts of HTC. According to Christian Today, Borrowing ideas from one smartphone design to the other is not new as Samsung also used the same concept for its Galaxy S7 which also borrowed some features from the upcoming Galaxy Note 6.

If rumors are true that the new Nexus device will carry HTC's design concept then fans should expect a much faster device as the HTC M10 uses the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with a 3GB RAM. Fans should also expect a much nicer camera and, of coursE, a sleeker more streamlined design. According to Yibada, the latest Nexus will also be carrying the latest Android 7.0 or the Android N as its OS.

Nexus fans will sure be delighted with this recent rumor from Google as this will up the standards of the Nexus smartphone lineup. It is yet to be seen, however, if the partnership of Google with HTC will skyrocket its position in the smartphone industry or nevertheless drown itself deep in quicksand.
