Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set to expand the world of Harry Potter and introduce the world in 1920s through the mystical adventures of Newt Scamander. Actor Eddie Redmayne shared his thoughts and preparations for the project.

Although not much is out about the upcoming project except for a couple of set photos, the anticipation over the upcoming project continues to build as it promises to feature more about the Harry Potter world. But aside from its promising plot, CinemaBlend reported that Redmayne teased about the screenplay being so good that he was afraid to lose the role to other actors.

Redmayne is set to play the central role of Newt Scamader, and recently revealed that the question was not so much about whether he would accept the role or not, but whether he would get it. "There was no question I wanted to do this movie. For me, it was a question of whether I'd get the gig. When I read J.K. Rowling's script, I just had my mind blown. I was so excited by it. The amazing thing was that I found it funny, I found it a thriller, I found it romantic. At the end, I was deeply moved by it.", Redmayne said.

Furthermore, as reported by Vine Report, Redmayne also added that he has been carrying a leather briefcase with him to work every day, just like his character, Newt. According to Redmayne he has had the briefcase for eight years and wanted to feel like he was holding a "proper job". Thus, he decided to bring the briefcase with him on set to keep his script and "whatever mementos I find useful in it".

The film is currently under post-production. According to Movie News Guide, the movie will be set in 1920s New York during one of Newt's stop where he goes on an adventure with Jacob. It has a budget of $225 million and is expected to feature many new and old beasts from the Harry Potter world.

The upcoming Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them will also star Ezra Miller, Katharine Waterston, Gemma Chan, Ron Perlman, Dan Fogler, and many others. It is directed by David Yates and scheduled for release on November 18, 2016.
