GTA 6: Rumored Release Periods Due to VR Support Development? Female Protagonist News Still Strong

By

Rockstar Games' GTA 6 still has not come a long way, and with many rumors spreading quickly, gamers are already eager to know what the real score is. Release dates, characters and plot suggestions are only some that prove to be intriguing to the masses, though Rockstar Games has not really talked much about it.

According to Ecumenical News, fans of the entire GTA franchise have continuously spoken out on their expectations for the sixth possible title and despite the fact that the details seen online are all still an uncertainty, release period rumors have become common. The most recognizable dates include as early as 2018 all the way to a possible 2020 window.

Noted by Yibada, the launch markers for GTA 6 are rumored to be the way they are due to the possibility that Rockstar Games is developing it with VR support. The claim, according to many, is not impossible, since many of today's games that do not necessarily belong to the first person genre are also applying the said technology. No word from Rockstar Games has been heard of yet in relation to this matter so far to clarify the claims.

As per Christian Post, GTA 6's most dominant rumor so far is having two lead characters, one of which being a female. In the past, the idea of having a female protagonist has been on the table of Rockstar Games and many believe that the sixth expansion will be the best time to do so. Rumor has it that Ryan Gosling will be voicing the male character and his real life partner Eva Mendes will play the part of the female.

GTA 6 also received rumors of a different map for the sixth installment. It was said that the maps will be bigger this time around and that it may not even be in the United States. Despite all the noise, Rockstar Games has stayed quiet on the matter and fans can only take the rumors with a grain of salt.
