Final Fantasy VII Remake to be Featured on Nintendo NX? Square Enix Mum on the Matter

By

The awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake has become such a widely appreciated title for quite a while, since it was announced to the public. New rumors of a possible move to a different piece of hardware have gone forward, and though Square Enix has not cleared the issue, the probability has become way too high to be ignored.

According to Yibada, the up and coming Final Fantasy VII Remake is not the only one that makes waves all over the web, as the partner expansion Final Fantasy XV is also one to look out for. As both games are equally strong contenders, it was reported that both titles will not just be present for the PlayStation hardware, but possible also for Nintendo NX.

As per I Digital Times, a Youtuber known as SuperMetalDave64 has disclosed the tendency of Final Fantasy XV and the Final Fantasy VII Remake to be made available for the Nintendo NX. It has not been officially declared by Square Enix that they are fully releasing the titles for the said console but the difference in graphics is not very different from the PlayStation 4, according to some. Fans believe that it would make sense for such a highly-anticipated title to be in another platform given that Cloud Strife has been seen in games all over different platforms.

Noted by Ecumenical News, Final Fantasy VII's Remake has been confirmed on releasing the entire game in an episodic manner. Many rumors have become rampant on why this approach was opted by Square Enix but the worry of many is that it may be too costly to complete the game with the said decision.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake is yet to receive its appointed release date as Square Enix may also be working on the Final Fantasy XV system which is already on a close to complete state. Keep posted for further updates on Square Enix's ace title for the coming months.
