Atlus' Persona 5 has been a strong contender as one of the most anticipated games of 2016. With only so much on the line, gamers are awaiting the possible response of the development team regarding the release date of the expansion, and the marker may have been set for the fans.

Noted by Youth Health Mag, the ever-charismatic Persona 5 has gone through massive tackles by the fans in the past months, as they search for further information about gameplay, story and most importantly, a release date. As 2016 makes its way further on, the role-playing game now has the right to announce a more solid set of news to get the fans more hooked towards the series.

Christian Today delivered that Persona 5 was originally delayed from its original allocation, but after that saddening announcement at the Tokyo Game Show 2015, Atlus' CEO Naoto Hiraoka officially declared that the highly awaited role playing game will be in the market by summer of 2016. This is one announcement that followers of the series are definitely to treasure, but Atlus also leads the attention towards their other unannounced titles bound to be launched.

There is no exact date yet, however, as per Christian Post, from the CEO. The entire team of Atlus declared that the game has gone through multiple delays for the simple reason of trying to formulate a better game for its massive fan base. As of the moment, Atlus assures the mass that the game is well taken care of and is in a very good state until it finally reaches the scheduled release period.

Persona 5 is a PlayStation exclusive; meant for release on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Though the key launch date is not yet a full certainty, the shreds of information divulged by Atlus proves to be enough for many to be excited about. Persona 5 is confirmed for a summer 2016 release.
