Street Fighter V Character Balance to Be Maintained; Yoshinori Ono Says Fan Ideas Will Be Heard

By

As Street Fighter V is expected to launch in a few days, Capcom has the fans' eyes set on the possibilities that the title will go through. Capcom has stayed generous with their followers in the past and as the game comes closer to its release, the concern over the game's balance has stepped forth.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, many of Street Fighter V's attributes are still yet to dazzle the fans, and the most interesting part that Street Fighter V always has to offer is the roster of the characters, which as of the moment, is limited to a select few. Capcom promises that they will do time-released characters for the coming months that many gamers are already looking forward to.

Moreover, as per Event Hubs, Peter "Combofiend" Rosas clarified the balance of the characters, and was quoted, "In terms of game mechanics, I feel the slow drip of new characters will give players something new to toy with as each character's V-Trigger is quite unique. In terms of tournament viability, we're working hard to ensure that every additional character added to the game is capable, but not overpowered; as protecting the game's balance is of the utmost importance to us. We'll be making battle balance changes at the end of every year to ensure all characters remain strong."

Noted by Express, as the game progresses, the sense of craving that fans may have will get stronger and Capcom's Yoshinori Ono declared that once there are viable ideas that fans can contribute to make the game better, the entire team is on the lookout to apply them. This is anticipated to occur via patches and possible downloadable contents.

Street Fighter V is scheduled to launch on February 16th, 2016. It was confirmed that the game can be played on cross-platform mechanism, as to give players chances to verse others on different forms of hardware.
