Accused stalker of actress Gwyneth Paltrow has been acquitted by the jury of all the charges on Wednesday. The Oscar Winning actress accused Ohio man and charged the said man after he sent her disturbing 66 letters and packages in recent years.

Dante Soiu, 66 years old was not convicted over the charges filed against him by the 43 year old American actress, Gwyneth Paltrow, despite she testified that she afraid of her safety, Washington Times reported. The jury also did not order the defendant to undergo psychiatric evaluation.

Paltrow testified she was upset about it, she added, "This was something I had been through a very long and traumatic experience with already," she said. Soiu in contrast says, "I have no desire to hurt her feelings. I have no desire to harass her," he testified.

Aside from the letters and packages sent to her, Soiu had been indicted on previous case, on which he sent lewd messages and sex toys to Paltrow earlier on her career in 1999 and 2000, CBS News reported. He took a not guilty plea over the charges, by the reason of his mental insanity and was then admitted to a mental institution.

On the current case, Soiu testified that he only wrote to Paltrow in recent years to make amends for his earlier sins and ask to for her forgiveness, USA Today reported. However, he still expressed his desire on marrying the actress. Lynda Westlund, his defense lawyer said, the defendant was a Christian and was only also trying to minister to Paltrow. Soiu also added had not recently attempt to see her personally. The actress testified that she has "been dealing with this for 17 years" and feared for her and her two children's safety.

Soui also revealed, he wrote to many public figures, including President Barack Obama, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin offering counsel on world affairs and solutions to problems.
