Colombian Model arrested for kidnapping, torturing a rival after online war

A social media war between feuding models has turned violent. A Colombian model has been arrested at an airport under the suspicion that she tortured a rival who released “unflattering” photos of her on social media.

Yeimy Rey, according to Mirror, was held by two police officers as she prepared to board a Miami flight. The police read her rights before escorting her to the station.

Yeimy and her sister Claudia are being accused of abducting fellow model Carolina Munoz, who claims she’s been victimized at a restaurant in Bogota.

Carolina claims that they submitted her to a night filled with terror when they drove her to a remote location in the countryside.

According to Carolina, she believes that she was targeted because she posted embarrassing photos of the sisters online.

“They bit me, tortured me, pulled my hair and when we reached a remote spot in the car they cut all my clothes off and left me totally naked,” she told police.

In a report from Daily Mail, Munoz claims that the sisters threatened to kill her and will go scot-free as they knew “very powerful” connections. The sisters also allegedly warned to pour acid on Munoz’ face and destroy her life.

Munoz also states that the sisters took her belongings and later published naked photos of her.

Per the local media, the sisters left Munoz in the street and boarded another car. But police arrived on the scene to arrest them. They were set free shortly afterwards.

The victim, meanwhile, admitted that she created the fake Twitter accounts to embarrass the sisters. She claims she only did that to get back at them for their negative comments she received from them.

Metro cites that Yeimi’s arrest will force her to face the allegations charged against her.

Unfortunately for Yeimi, she will be alone facing the legal charges since her sister, Claudia, is still at large.
