The third witness of the sexual assault trial of the former CBC Host admitted she intentionally lied to the police when she didn't told them that she and the former host had a sexual contact when the assault happened.

Jian Ghomeshi, the former host of "Q," a popular radio program in Canada and US pleaded not guilty on the charges of sexual assault to four counts and choking to one count, according to the three women claiming the allegations. ABC News reported, the woman, whose identity is concealed, testified at the trial on Monday that she was choked by Ghomeshi while they were "making out" in a park in Toronto.

She and the former host met again and engage on a sexual act. However, she omitted to tell the authorities regarding it, until last Friday. Ghomeshi's defense attorney asked if she deliberately misled the police about it, the woman answered it positively.

The Toronto Sun reported that the reason why she did not reveal it was because she felt it was embarrassing and thought it was irrelevant. The woman told the jury that she met Ghomeshi in summer 2003, when the former host played with his band and that she was also performing at the Toronto Park.

Lucy DeCoutere, a TV actress was the second woman to testify against Ghomeshi. She also admitted on Friday that she wanted to have sex with him after she was allegedly choke and slapped by Ghomeshi. The former host's defense lawyer presented emails that evidently showed she wanted to have a relationship with his client.

While the first women who testified last week also admitted that she sent a photo of her on a bikini-clad a year after she was allegedly pulled by her hair and punch by Ghomeshi.

Ghomeshi, who first became a popular member of the 1990s satirical pop band Moxy Fruvous, previously, defended himself in a 1,500-word Facebook post. He said on his online post, women consented to having "rough sex" with him and that he was the victim of a disgruntled ex-girlfriend. The CBC terminated him later on.
