GTA 6 Rumors Claim Possible 2018 Release Moved Further? Fans Question Series' Future

By

Rockstar Games' idea of GTA 6 is still one to be cautious of, as no affirmation of the game's existence has even been confirmed. That being said, fans are still speculating on the possibilities that the title will become a reality soon enough, even getting to the point that a release date is expected.

As per Value Walk, Rockstar Games has not disclosed anything with regards to the possibility of a sixth installment anytime soon, not just for the said title but even for the relative titles such as Red Dead Redemption. There are bits of rumors, however, that the chance of a possible release can happen in a few years.

According to Christian Post, it was recently a resounding rumor that GTA 6 is to be pushed further forward instead of the supposed 2018 launch speculation. Oddly enough, there are those that question where the hunch of a 2018 launch came from, given it would be quite too soon coming from the current GTA Online title. There are some who believe that the said rumor could be true, given that the proposed sixth installment is expected sometime within 2019 to 2020.

It was noted by Parent Herald, due to the many uncertainties that the sixth installment brings forward, gamers dread that the GTA franchise will slowly crumble to its knees. Rumors such as the inclusion of celebrity couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling being the protagonists of the game, and being set in the entire East Coast are just some that need clarification, since the epidemic spread of hoaxes and guesses have become uncontrollable and inevitable.

GTA 6 is still not fully confirmed by Rockstar Games, but fans continue to believe that the development team may just be secretly working on the said expansion as a form of surprise in the future. Even more interesting, some believe that Rockstar Games will pour all their ideas into the sixth installment; especially those that they were not able to do with the predecessors.
