A former Playboy model model recently died after visiting her second chiropractor. Late last week, Katie May attended a photo shoot in Los Angeles were she fell and injured her neck. She was rushed to the hospital but later that day, released. When she went home, Katie May continued to post on social media and complained about the pain.

According to her tweet, she had "pinched a nerve in my neck on a photoshoot and got adjusted this morning. It really hurts!" The model sent out the tweet on Friday as she informed her friends about the ache in her neck and her visit to the chiropractor. The tweet was deleted shortly but the model still managed to reply to a fan who asked how she was feeling the next day "@Ms_katiemay you look amazing my lady. How's your neck feeling?" To this, the model responded: "Thanks love! It still hurts, going back to chiropractor tomorrow xoxoxo." It was unclear whether or not the model actually returned to a chiropractor.

On Monday, Katie May was rushed to the hospital when she suffered a catastrophic stroke. Three days after she was taken off life support, the model died. A source of TMZ shares that May had torn the carotid artery in her neck. According to the website, doctors informed her family that the tear had led to a blood clot that broke off and had caused the stroke.

Katie May is a 34-year-old mother of one who has been dubbed as the "Official Queen of Snapchat." Her Instagram account is full of photos of the model showing off why she's deserving to be a queen in her own right. As a model, she has posed for publications like Sports Illustrated and Playboy. On social media, she is being followed by almost two million people. She is survived by her seven-year-old daughter. A GoFundMe page has been set up by May's family for the child.
