'X-Men Apocalypse' Updates: Quicksilver scene took 2 months to shoot; Bryan Singer praised Evan Peters

Latest news in X-Men: Apocalypse says that Bryan Singer took almost two months to film Quicksilver's running sequence. The lengthy process it took to get the three minutes clip perfectly means Peters worked longer on the film than any other characters in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Bryan Singer posted on his Instagram account that features Evan Peters, played as Quicksilver, running in a speed of light. The caption of the post states that the footage took almost two months to film. Many fans agree that the directing team should get the running scene of Quicksilver right or else it will be listed in the top worst CGI effects ever made in the film industry,

If fans can remember, it was Quicksilver's super speed scene that nailed and sold X-Men: Days of Future Past. With Quicksilver's latest running sequence, fans expect that Singer and company will outdo themselves in the latest X-Men sequel. Bryan singer then thanked Evan Peters and the crew of American Horror Story for their flexibility and creativity which perfected the scene.

Meanwhile, Simon Kinberg also posted a video through 20th Century Fox's Youtube account answering fans. Simon Kinberg said that X-Men: Apocalypse will be the best and biggest X-Men of all and that the main villain will blow everyone's expectation. Moreover, the producer said that Apocalypse's threat will reach to an extinction-level to the world and will make the film more emotional compared to other X-Men films.

Simon Kinberg also said that Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaac will be the most powerful villain in the X-Men world as reported by Screen Rant. Comic fans are aware that Apocalypse is the first mutant in the X-Men universe and that he has the power to wipe out an entire planet.

Jennifer Lawrence, as Raven, will join James McAvoy in defeating Apocalypse. The new X-Men: Apocalypse will introduce new but familiar characters, like Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Lana Condor (Jubilee), Ben Hardy (Angel), and Alexandra Shipp (Storm).

The crew of X-Men: Apocalypse assured fans that they will be treated with astounding visuals and a heavy storyline that will surely surprise everyone's expectation. X-Men: Apocalypse is set to hit the big screen this coming May 27, 2016.
