Is Chris Brown Giving His Daughter Asthma?

By

It's true when they say that a parent will do anything for his child. So when Chris Brown found himself in the middle of another controversy, the first thing he did was share the message on his Instagram account.

As evident on his social media, the singer posted a message from the mother of his child, Nia Guzman, that he was giving her asthma. A few hours later, the post was deleted by Brown. Along with the post, Brown says that he quit smoking on New Year's and that nobody smokes around his daughter, Royalty. Additionally, Brown says that this was another attempt of Guzman to get more money from him.

Guzman, on the other hand, isn't too happy about Brown's actions. She has decided to take him to court claiming that he has been making their daughter sick with asthma. According to Guzman, her one-year-old daughter had developed asthma because of her secondhand smoke exposure from Brown. Guzman also alleges that Brown is an avid cigarette and weed smoker.

Adding to her claims against the singer, Guzman says that whenever Royalty comes back from visiting her father, she usually smells like smoke. This has led Guzman to worry about Brown abusing drugs and even relapse with Promethazine.

On her charge against Brown, Guzman wishes that his visitations to their child be restricted. Guzman is asking the judge to force Brown to have a nanny or even lessen the number of times he visits Royalty. Guzman also requests that Brown be forced to take random drug tests and be stopped from drinking alcohol and using drugs with his daughter around. Also, she would like Brown to stop smoking whenever Royalty is around. Her last request is to have the child support increased to $16,000 from $2,500 because of the asthma that Royalty has developed.
