Apple fans are now keeping a keen eye on how this wireless wrist band technology keeps up with the trend. With a new OS, sleeker design and large battery, fans and fans to be will be delighted with the Apple Watch 2.
An executive from Quanta, Barry Lam has partnered with Apple to develop the second generation Apple Watch. Experts say that the second-generation watch will be launched in March 2016. Using the Watch OS 2 it expected to bring a lot of improvements like native app support, ability to watch videos, reply to emails, do Facetime and connect via Wi-Fi.
According to Phone Arena, it will sport a wireless chipset that allows it to access basic communication task without the pairing of an iPhone, and it can be used using Wi-Fi triangulation. Apple sources also say that the watch will have a video camera which allows users to make and receive video via Facetime rather than the audio format before it.
The new Apple Watch will feature new models like standard, Sport and Edition versions. New materials also are being used for platinum, titanium or even liquid metal. But the size of the watch, its dimensions will exactly be the same as its older version. The sure thing that will change according to rumors is the thickness of the screen will be a little bit thinner for it to accommodate a larger battery but experts say that the juice power will almost be the same as before. Apple might put in some applications to help the power last longer.
Rumors also circulated that it will come with a new kind of band. A band that has light fibers embedded into it making it light and will provide the notifications via the wristband itself. Fans hope that it won't be too flashy to maintain its premium looks.
Although rumors have been all over the internet, nobody knows what the actual Apple Watch 2 will look like in real life. But one thing is for sure from Apple, it will give its fans features and surprises beyond what they already know so far.
