WWE 2K16 Future Stars DLC Bugged With Data Corruption? Main Game Broken by Said Update

By

WWE 2K16 can be recalled on being the biggest title under the WWE games franchise by 2K, Visual Concepts and Yukes. As downloadable contents are part of any game's evolution, the latest one for the 2K title was proven to be so hazardous that it is advised to actually not be taken.

According to Games Radar, WWE 2K16 recently confirmed the existence and availability of their newest downloadable content update, namely Future Stars. The game does have promise of more superstars to add to the already massive roster, but along with it, is quite a treacherous plague that will surely hurt gamers all throughout.

Noted by iDigital Times, the Future Stars downloadable content was reported by many fans through the official 2K forums that saved files were immediately corrupted, especially those that use the Xbox one and PlayStation 4 platforms. This particular issue has been clarified, however, of not affecting the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users. To make matters worse, this scenario is not anymore a surprise to those who have tailed the WWE titles in the past, as the same issue can be remembered by many to have occurred back in WWE 2K15 in which saved data was utterly corrupted upon staying idle for too long.

Christian Post stated that WWE 2K16's Future Stars downloadable content update is bound to give Samoa Joe, Los Matadores, as well as Blake and Murphy to the mix of over 120 Superstars in the roster. For the time being, Bryan Vore, Community Manager at 2K, was quoted, "If you are an active Universe Mode player on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, we recommend waiting to download the Future Stars Pack until we fully investigate and resolve the issue. Thank you for your patience."

WWE 2K16 has been dubbed as one of the best and perhaps the biggest WWE game ever recalled to date. Keep posted for more updates and probable fixes for the existing expansion of the WWE game series.
