'Devious Maids' Season 4 Cast Update: Show Adds 'Desperate Housewives’ Star Eva Longoria, James Denton and 1 More

By

Devious Maids has added new faces to join its upcoming fourth season. Among the list of new guest stars are former Desperate Housewives co-stars Eva Longoria and James Denton.

As first reported by TV Line, the Lifetime series has added one of the show’s executive producers, Eva Longoria to its season 4 cast. It’s still a mystery as to whether Longoria’s character will be a foe or a friend to Mirasol and co. when the soapy drama returns.

Though fans have yet to wait for more details, bringing the Latina actress to the cast can definitely make for some interesting dynamic with the original cast members.

Longoria currently stars on NBC’s Telenovela.

James Denton, who’s known for his role as Mike Delfino on ABC’s Desperate Housewives, will be recurring in the new season. The actor has been tapped to play Peter, a movie studio head who “falls hard and fast into a new relationship.”

Additionally, Chuck alum Ryan McPartlin is also set to play a recurring character on Devious Maids season 4. Deadline reported that McPartlin will portray a “sweet, fun and impossibly sexy” new neighbor named Kyle.

Although Kyle seems to be the perfect guy, the publication noted that this character has “an unusually close” ties with his mother. To this end, it can be assumed that Partlin’s character will soon be labeled as the “mama’s boy” on the Lifetime series.

Recently, production has officially began for Maids’ fourth run. And the cast and crew were happy to share some behind-the-scenes snippets to whet their fans’ appetite.

Co-showrunner Sabrina Wind posted a photo on Twitter last week, where the major players were seen filming a living room scene.

“Guess what show started shooting season 4 today!!! #DeviousMaids @lifetimetv,” the executive producer shared.

‘Devious Maids’ is slated to return sometime in 2016 on Lifetime.
