The upcoming fifth expansion Street Fighter V to the long-running fighting game franchise has certainly become an awaited title beyond many of the generation's expected games. With so much on the line, any particle of news that is being brought out by developer Capcom is being treasured by the most loyal followers and the release date is surely one that many have craved so strongly for.
As reported by Christian Post, Street Fighter V is the latest and most awaited titles that the two-dimensional fighting game will bring forward this year. Since many fans have cordially awaited for a release date to hold on to, gamers from Japan can now mark their calendars as the game is set to release for their territories on February 18th, 2016.
In the same manner, as per Breathe Cast, the western areas will get their copies slightly earlier as both Europe and North America will have the game set for launch on February 16th, 2016. Other than the aforementioned dates, there are no confirmed news yet for the game's release for the remainder of the world, unfortunately.
Delivered by PlayStation Lifestyle, Capcom may have decided to make things slightly more interesting for the title's future with other commitments that do not necessarily have anything to do with the gameplay. Setting aside the crossing over of one primary Street Fighter character to the Tekken world, one promise that may have caught the fans' fancy is the ability to verse via cross-platforms.
This will be more favorable to those who are to use their PC's to acquire the game. Though no clearer details are divulged yet for how the whole mechanism will work, it is expected that this approach will attract a whole lot more players.
Capcom's Street Fighter V still has a promise of more characters to fulfill along the coming months that the game will be out. So far, the roster is slowly being filled up by faces that were seen in the past titles and new ones that could stir the game up even more.
