Apple has denied rumors that they are crafting a tool that will help iOS users to migrate to Android and asserted that they are currently focusing on bringing more people in to their ecosystem. The firm also affirmed that they found a huge migration from Android to iOS during the previous year.

Apple has responded to previous report that they are developing a tool that will help iOS users to bring their data to Android. According to The Verge, the report first surfaced in The Telegraph that cited a "senior industry source" who claimed that such tool is currently in the works.

The idea to develop the abovementioned to tool is reportedly due to the increasing pressure from the European mobile operators who are complaining that iPhone users rarely migrate to different platforms. It claims that part of the reason of such is the fact that it is impossible to easily export data from iOS to another platform.

However, according to a report by Buzzfeed, such claims have been clarified to be untrue by Apple Spokesperson Trudy Muller who confirmed that they are focusing on bringing more people in iOS and not the other way around.

"We are entirely focused on switching users from Android to iPhone, and that is going great.", Muller said. Also, during their last reported earnings on October last year, CEO Tim Cook mentioned that they witnessed the largest number of Android-to-iPhone migration.

"For customers who purchased an iPhone last quarter, and replaced a smartphone, that 30 percent of those switched from an Android device. There would have been some switchers on top of that from other operating systems, but obviously Android is the largest one by far.", Cook said.

The development of such tool is also unlikely as Gadgets 360 reported that an e-mail was disclosed as part of litigation for a case involving Samsung and Apple noting that former boss Steve Jobs mentioned that the company should "further lock customers" into their ecosystem.

The report by Telegraph mentioned that Apple did not immediately respond for comments and mention release date or further detail about the alleged tool. Apple has also recently released an application dubbed as Move to iOS which makes easier transfer for Android users to move to iOS.
